Supporting the Green Homes Grant for Homes & Park Homes

Homeowners and residential landlords have recently had the opportunity to apply for a Green Homes Grant voucher, to contribute to the costs of installing energy efficient improvements to homes or park homes.

The scheme is closed to new applications and the most recently issued vouchers will expire later this year, but there are still a significant quantity of vouchers waiting to be redeemed for the installation of External Wall Insulation (EWI) onto homes and park homes.

External wall insulation is technically one of the most effective ways to improve the thermal efficiency of an existing building as it places the insulation where it works best – on the outside of the wall. Not only does EWI save energy and reduce heating bills but also gives the opportunity to renew the aesthetics of the property, with a range of traditional and modern finishes available to suit the property and local area.
