Render Only

Silicone or silicone silicate render has a number of fantastic advantages. It is the easiest system to apply and its hydrophobic properties makes the render low maintenance.

Silicone Thin Coat Render

Silicone Thin Coat render incorporates the benefits of silicone technology to provide a water repellent final surface with a fresh and modern appearance. The silicone allows water vapour to pass freely through the render whilst allowing the finish to remain weather resistant.

Silicone Thin Coat render contains a biocide to help prevent infection from mould, yeast and algae and also has a low susceptibility to soiling and contamination, making it the ideal solution for a low maintenance, long-term finish.

We have a variety of Thin Coat render colours available and we recommend that all colours & textures are verified against a sample, before ordering.

Dash Receiver

Dash Receiver is normally applied over K Systems Base Coats as a background surface for dry dash or roughcast finishes. Dash Receiver can be hand or machine applied and is available in 20 standard colours.

HP12 Base Coat

HP12 Base Coat can be hand or machine applied. It uses ‘High Polymer’ technology for an enhanced performance on difficult substrates such as dense block, unpainted render and brickwork (primer may be required). It is ideal as a stipple coat or for dense backgrounds and has increased water resistance and adhesion. Incorporation of Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh may be required at stress points such as door and window reveals. HP12 Base Coat can be used in conjunction with all K Systems render finishes.

Application Instructions
  • Primary Coat, where required should be applied to substrates as preparation for subsequent coats. Thickness should be as per product specification. It is important to take special care to straighten with a Darby / straight edge to ensure that the next coat is applied to uniform level
  • Form a light key only
  • Allow 24 hours curing time before further application, unless advised otherwise. For info on unusual substrates, seek technical advise

HP14 Base Coat

HP14 Base Coat can be hand or machine applied. It uses “High Polymer” technology for an enhanced performance onto a wide variety of insulating substrates such as enhanced polystyrene, phenolic and mineral wool. It is designed as the ideal background for our render finishes such as Silicone Thin Coat and Dash. Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh should be used in conjunction with HP14 Base Coat at stress points such as door and window reveals.
