“K Systems provided a great overall package from the inception of this project with design advice, through the technical stages, with assistance through specification and then with the provision of weekly reports and checks once the project got on site. Cartcraigs, being a high-rise block needed monitoring and adherence to the project specification, and having the K Systems team providing regular on site checks gave the design team the assurance that all requirements were being met.”
“We are delighted and incredibly proud to have worked on the refurb project at Buckley View which has been recognised with three award nominations so far. These nominations are a testament to the great partnership approach by all involved parties, the highest levels of construction quality showcased throughout, and the exceptional performance outcomes of the entire project, for the housing residents, housing provider and for the wider area.”
“Successful EWI schemes, especially on high-rise tower blocks, demand the highest level of project and on-site support from design through to inspections, with technical guidance and warranty support. K Systems are expert partners in this field.”
“To deliver such a large project (120 houses), it requires multiple teams to work seamlessly together and have absolute trust in the other’s skill, vision, and judgement. That’s exactly what we had with K Systems on this Bishop Auckland project. The team’s innate understanding of pairing systems with finishes for optimal performance is second to none and together we delivered a best-in-class refurbishment which was an absolute pleasure.”
“In conjunction with the Architects we approached K Systems to design a system to comply with fire regulations and offer a solution to make the look of the building more aesthetically pleasing along with making it a point of interest within the Southside area. Great site support was provided by Ally along with Technical/Service support from Jim and Martin. The team at PWM look forward to working on our next project with K Systems.”
“Delivery of the Fishwick project required teams to work seamlessly together and have absolute trust in the other’s skill, vision, and judgement. That’s exactly what we had with K Systems, Seddon and Aldrock on the Fishwick project. In particular, the installation of the exemplar NEA (National Energy Action) specification. The team’s innate understanding of pairing systems with finishes for optimal performance delivered a best-inclass refurbishment.”
“Throughout the project K Systems have supported Swindon Borough Council agreeing all detailing to ensure current day Building Control Regulations were met. They supported resolutions throughout the project lifecycle and were really reactive, visiting site and supporting when required. They carried out weekly detailed spot check reports with photographic evidence and also checked batch numbers of materials. They delivered a great service. A really successful project.”
“K Systems had several preconstruction site visits with us to design a phenolic system that made the houses much more energy efficient and more pleasing to the eye as well as meeting the desired U-value. Excellent input in the weekly visits made the contract run very smoothly and helped produce a great focal point for the councils’ investments. We look forward to many more project collaborations going forward.”
“Working alongside K Systems on a project of the size and nature of Devonshire Mansions was a true pleasure. From initial scope and specification to intricate detailing and innovative finishes, the K Systems team lead by example and made the process and delivery a slick and seamless operation. The refurbishment was a complex case but working together in partnership, we all delivered on excellence, and the beautiful Devonshire development is something we can all proudly put our names to.”
“We secured the refurbishment works at Marineside, for a good client and works started in January 2022. The scope of works was to make the 3 blocks more energy efficient. Situated directly on the beach, the location made the install very challenging as the weather was not very forgiving at that time of year. The existing substrate was all over the place so a lot of effort was put in to get the walls looking line and level while staying within the remit of the specification. Works were completed in July 2022 and to a very high standard for all to see."
"At a time when the industry is facing material shortages and cost inflationary pressures, the Aricco system offers a contemporary and high-quality alternative to traditional brick or render finishes. The system’s design flexibility is also key to CCG; pioneers for offsite construction methods in Scotland, the ability to integrate the system as part of timber system offering is fundamental to driving efficiencies and generating time savings for our clients. In affordable housebuilding, this carries an added weight of significance and we would like to thank the K Systems team for playing a major role in the creation of the largest individual project of its kind ever constructed in Dumfries and Galloway.”
