Tell me something about yourself that nobody knows?

I played for soccer teams in Los Angeles in the late 80’s including Santa Monica Surf a leading team in Southern California. I also played for Real Santa Monica the original club that became Santa Monica Surf. I played at College level for a year before returning to England.

What do you love about your job at K Systems?

Seeing a project through from detail drawings to finished buildings to the satisfaction of all the stake holders.

What is the biggest challenge / exciting opportunity you have faced within the industry?

Servicing Building Safety Fund projects strip and refit detailing and delivery of new facades to latest building control and building regulation requirements.

What is the most interesting K Systems project you have worked on and why?

Imperial War Museum North at Salford – black render EWI in combination with “shrapnel” cladding liaising with an architect in Berlin.
