Project Overview
K Systems Silkolitt+ Silicone Thin Coat Render provided this stunning finish to the award winning Redrow Homes development at Knightstone Island in Weston-Super-Mare. Designed by Ferguson Mann Architects of Bristol, the scheme received an International Property Award in the USA, for its sensitive restoration of three Grade II listed Victorian buildings. Knightstone Island is linked to the mainland by a causeway and its exposed location demanded a high performance envelope, able to withstand the rigours of coastal weather conditions. Developer Redrow Homes specified 3000m² of Silkolitt+ Silicone Thin Coat Render which was installed by approved contractor Specialist External Render Systems Ltd of Gwent.
