Get to Know the K Systems Team | Karen Oliff

1) Tell me something about yourself that nobody knows?

Ice Hockey has been a passion of mine for the past 8 years. I support the Nottingham Panthers. I also have a football crazy daughter who plays for Derby County FC Women U17’s. Photography is a hobby of mine.

2) What do you love about the job?

I love dealing with my fantastic customers and the challenges that the role presents.

3) What is the biggest challenge / exciting opportunity you have faced within the industry?

The biggest challenge that I have faced was being made redundant from a job that I enjoyed during the Covid period and being challenged to find a new role that I have now found with K Systems and which I’m enjoying immensely!

4) What is the most interesting project you have worked on and why?

I’m currently working on a large commercial development and have brought together different trades for the various packages to enable us to offer a through-wall solution. The project incorporates some really interesting features and profiles and I’m looking forward to seeing how this project develops over the next few months.
