Tell me something about yourself that nobody knows?

I have been into motorcycling since I was a teenager. Over the years I have owned a number of bikes of different styles but my favourite was when I owned a Triumph 955 Tiger (shown in the photo above).

What do you love about your job at K Systems?

I love many things about my job but mostly the variety of the role as I deal with many different types of customers which presents different challenges and rewards. I also like the team spirit within the company and feel valued as an employee.

What is the biggest challenge / exciting opportunity you have faced within the industry?

• The biggest challenge has been the ongoing material price increases.
• The exciting opportunities are currently the projects which are due to start with several Local Authorities.

What is the most interesting K Systems project you have worked on and why?

• Refurbishment of Cockenzie Primary School.
• A challenging project due to various systems being required for the various substrates.
• 3 Systems supplied and installed:
  • Solo Dash
  • Phenolic Dash
  • EPS Dash
