Tell me something about yourself that nobody knows?

I’m a very keen downhill mountain biker and being originally from Wales, where mountain biking is one of the best adventure sports they have to offer with exhilarating trails and stunning scenery, I try to head back as often as possible for the technically challenging tracks along with other destinations within the UK.

What do you love about your job at K Systems?

Great company with great colleagues! No two days are the same, bringing different challenges with every project. Each building is looked at independently to the next in providing the best solution, this involves talking to all aspects of the supply chain which is very rewarding.

What is the biggest challenge / exciting opportunity you have faced within the industry?

With ever changing building regulations, making sure we remain current and that attention to detail is key to specifying the correct solution for the project at hand that meets these regulations.

What is the most interesting K Systems project you have worked on and why?

No1 Palace Street – specifying a solution while maintaining the traditional appearance of the building and appreciating the existing architecture. This building being the neighbouring building to Buckingham Palace and the only location that overlooks the palace grounds.
