Project Overview
To meet the specification and aesthetic requirements of the project, K Systems Mineral Wool EWI with our Silicone TC15 render and acrylic brick slip finish was specified. 80mm was required for the Caspon’s and 100mm for the 5M’s. This was to achieve a 0.28 U-Value. 150mm mineral wool was also used in some areas where there was a transition in the substrate. Our Mineral wool insulation was chosen because of the outstanding A1 non-combustible fire rating.
